None of these Realme 5I specifications would make sense if the phone doesn’t have a good look and design. These days it is not just a teenager who wants a stylish looking phone but a middle-aged would want one too. So, the Realme 5I looks quite similar to other phones in the 5 series. You get it in two color options- Aqua Blue and Forest Green. Both of these come with a sunrise pattern at the back which is a rather recent change. The back also has a slightly textured feel to it making it have a better grip and helps to keep the annoying fingerprints at bay. The fingerprint sensor is also located at the back panel making the unlock process a whole lot easier.

With the Realme 5I comes a 6.5- inch IPS display and is protected with Gorilla Glass 3. The 89% screen- to- body ratio is quite good and the bezels are thick with a not so wide chin. The panel boasts of 1600 x 720 HD pixel resolutions with a brightness that can be dealt with usually but not in broad sunlight. The display quality is okay with colors being vibrant enough.

This is yet another of those Realme 5I specifications which are similar to the previous Realme models and that is something we don’t like.  If features are to be similar to other phones from the same manufacturer there seems to be no point in it. Nevertheless, it has got the same processor as those i.e. the 2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 AIE octa-core processor. You get a 4GB Ram and 64 GB of storage which is expandable up to 256 GB. There are no other variations concerning the RAM they are providing.

We have to say that the Realme 5I is not just a good-looking smartphone but has software and hardware that makes it a complete package. The processor that you get with this goes quite well with its other specifications and delivers a decent performance. Also, with the 4 GB RAM, you will be able to switch between different tasks and multitask without feeling any glitch or interruption. The speakers are decent too. The sound quality and volume are good enough for a smartphone priced under 12,000 rupees. Unlocking the phone with the fingerprint sensor and face recognition was a cakewalk. It was quite quick. About the heating up, you would not feel the phone getting overly heated up even though you play one of those heavy games like PUBG for 20 minutes straight.

The rear camera is a quad setup and, on the front, you get an 8 MP front camera. The primary sensor of 12 MP is capable enough to click good pictures in broad daylight along with good exposure and correct skin tones. The other two cameras- wide-angle and the macro lens capture good images as well. The selfie camera performs well too. As for the video, you can capture 4K videos, make use of the different sensors, and switch between different modes.

Within a budget of 12000 rupees, it gets quite difficult to have a good smartphone with a powerful battery backup. But, your search ends now. The Realme 51 features a 5,000 mA battery and a 10W charger. There is no fast time charging. But, we did expect Realme to do this little change in a new addition to the 5 series. for the battery lasting power, once fully charged it can easily go for 14 hours with heavy usage, gaming, and online streaming. But, if you are having a busy day and didn’t get much time to spend with your phone you are sorted for one complete day or even more than that.

Pros & Cons

Pros  Cons
Trendy looking stylish design  No fast charging
Decent performanceUser is most likely to suffer from not enough brightness on a bright sunny day
Good battery backup
Amazing rear camera

Soon after the invention of mobile phones there weren’t a lot of affordable and today a budget of 12000 is impressive and since we have got so many competitors in the market you expect a lot more now.

Well, the Realme 5I completes fits the definition of a value for money smartphone since we don’t have a lot of bad things to say about it. It is quite the opposite.

There are only one or two cons and mostly good points. Overall, in this price range, it is a great buy from Realme especially if you are looking for well-built stylish smartphones since Realme has aced it with the back panel this time. And not to mention the Realme 5I specifications as well.
