The invention of mobile phones starts with the wireless telephone inventor. We need to remember that the mobile phones didn’t come into being as it looks nowadays. From a long time of research and technical developments, we can formulate a system to develop the world’s first wireless telephone but deciding the wireless phone inventor is not an easy task. We in this article try to find out the people who can be credited as the title of the inventor of the wireless telephones.

The Initial Invention Of The Wireless Telephones

The most important development in the search for the wireless telephone inventor can be said as the invention of the walkie-talkie system created by the Motorola Company. They were mostly used in the second world war by both sides of the Armies it was connected with a kind of single radio system where the signals of the different kind we’re used to be sent by the Army. This was developed by three engineers namely, Donald Hings, Alfred J. Gross, Henryk Magnuski.

These three engineers worked hard to develop the phone which was easy to transport. It would not be like the other bulky car phones that were in use at that time and they came up with the idea of a wireless walkie-talkie. It will be able to give and take information from a closed signal area. This depends upon the radio signaling system a technology which is still intact with the invention of the mobile phones too.

These kinds of handsets were very bulky. One person in the Army used to have it like their backpack and another person who wants to send the message should take the receiver from him and then talk. This model became highly successful in war zones. After the wars, they were largely used in the public safety areas and used by police and private security providers.

Motorola And The Invention Of The Wireless Telephone

Our search for the wireless telephone inventor doesn’t stop here. The device which was used in war and then by police was used by the government official only because it was based on the single radio network line. So, that was of no use by the general public. To tackle this problem Martin Cooper, a senior system expert and designing expert of Motorola wanted to make a truly wireless telephone for the general public. He used all his technological capabilities and understanding of electronics to make such a telephone which can be considered as truly wireless. At last, in 1973 he made the first truly wireless telephone prototype. From this phone the first call he made to the office of his Rival AT&T company who was also trying to make a truly wireless telephone.

One can say that Martin Cooper can be called the true wireless telephone inventor. But in the invention of mobile phones, we must not forget the inventors of the wireless telephone which used in another way and served the country.
